Philip Gumuchdjian

Established in 1998, Gumuchdjian Architects has designed the Hauser & Wirth gallery, the Butler Family Collec on museum, the Giant Recycled Paper Building, the Marylebone Performing Arts Centre in London, and the Think Tank in Ireland.

Their work on the Centre Pompidou-Metz is the culmination of ten years of informal collaboration with Shigeru Ban, including the Paper Forest building in Kew Gardens, London.

Philip has received a number of architectural awards, in particular the National Award by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) 2008, and the Stephen Lawrence Award in 2003 and 2010.
