The club is located close to the port of Sotogrande in Finca Los Pinos and was the original polo ground in Sotogrande. It opens its doors each afternoon and as well as the excitement of the matches, there’s lots of other things to see and do. The stunning grounds and main pavilion showcases some of the most exclusive businesses in the area. There’s a Village Shopping Area, where you can browse stalls and pick up some beautiful clothes and gifts from luxury brands such as Sveti Stefan, Babbaki, Panamania Hats, Luxury Food Spain and more.
The ’50º Aniversario Torneo Internacional Polo by La Reserva Club’ is very much a family affair with a Kids Zone with activities and fun games for them to enjoy. There are also wonderful areas to enjoy a cool drink or some delicious food and live music to further enhance the atmosphere after the matches have finished. If you like Argentinian food, you’re in for a treat and should head down to the Gastro Garden to sample some traditional fare. As the night arrives you can dance under the stars as part of the Afterpolo party.
It’s free to go in and have a look around and enjoy some fast-paced action on the polo field, as well as admire the beautiful polo ponies and do a spot of shopping. There are also hospitality packages including access to preferential seating and catering from 50€ per day, or access to terrace seating from 15€. You can buy tickets on the website.

Polo in Sotogrande
The history of polo in Sotogrande goes back to 1962, when Joseph McMicking purchased Finca Paniagua. His nephews, Jaime and Enrique Zobel led the development of Sotogrande and had a passion for polo. Enrique Zobel in particular used this passion to create the first polo field in 1965 and now there are four great polo clubs in the area, as well as training grounds and stables dedicated to caring for polo ponies.
