La Reserva de Sotogrande are very proud sponsors of the upcoming Sotosol Walk and Fun Run which is taking through La Reserva on Sunday 25th of November, raising money for Danii Cancer Charity.
This is a popular annual event where you can walk or run 5km or 10km routes, starting and finishing at Sotogrande International School. You can bring your dogs for a nice long walk, enjoy the fresh air and exercise, even if you’re not competitive. This really is an event for everyone, so get a team together, pick up a t-shirt from outside the school and get involved – the more the merrier!
There’s always a great turnout, with past events raising up to 20,000€ and the organizers hope that the community will come out again and support this great cause. It costs 10€ per adult and 5€ per child to participate, with all proceeds going to charity. Register from 10.15am at Sotogrande International School, with races starting at 11am.
After the race, there is a BBQ, bar and music to enjoy, as well as a raffle with fantastic prizes to be won. There is always a lovely atmosphere with Sotogrande residents and visitors of all ages, getting together to raise a lot of money for a great cause.
This lovely family event raises fun for Danii Children’s Cancer Charity, an inspirational charity set up by Danii, who has been battling cancer since she was young. After fighting cancer for many years, she decided to set up the charity to raise money for three different causes. She is raising money for the children’s oncology ward at Hospital Virgen del Rocío in Seville, Fundación Pequeño Deseo, which grants wishes for children suffering from serious and terminal illness and Andex, the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer. She has already raised over 176,000€ for these great causes.
