The Aramco Team Series is one of the most exciting new event properties in the world of sport. It will bring together some of the best female golfers in the world to compete for $1m in four events held in four major cities across the globe. It is the first event in golf which will allow amateur players to contribute to the final result of the main prize and will provide an unprecedented support for female professionals and gender equality in sport.
The ATS Spain will take place at La Reserva Club Sotogrande between August 5-7 offering a $1m prize purse. The event will use an innovative format, entirely unique to golf. Each of the 36 teams will consist of three pros and one amateur, with scores from all four contributing to the result. It is the only event in world golf where an amateur could have the chance of holing the winning putt in a fully sanctioned tour event!
The second event of the series will feature several starts of the global game, including Georgia Hall, Charley Hull, Bronte Law, Moriya Jutanugarn, Alison Lee, Catriona Matthew and Lizette Salas, plus the individual champion from the Aramco Team Series – London Marianne Skarpnord.
