Every Sunday at the Sotogrande Marina, there is a fantastic market selling clothes, accessories, jewellery, artisan products, antiques and more. Browsing the stalls is a lovely way to spend a morning. As many of the products are handmade, you know you are buying unique pieces, which make excellent gifts.
The market runs from 10am to 2pm every Sunday and has 68 stalls selling a wide range of goods arranged all around the marina.
What makes this market special is the marina setting, with the backdrop of beautiful yachts and the stalls on the water’s edge. As well as the stalls, the marina has a wide range of shops, many of which open on a Sunday, to offer market goers another great shopping experience. As you know, shops in Spain aren’t usually open on a Sunday, so having 68 stalls, plus shops selling fashion, beauty, jewellery, furniture and more open on a Sunday morning is a real treat.
The smallest members of the family will enjoy browsing the toys on sale at the market and when they have had enough shopping, they can enjoy the fun at our kids’ play area Jugarnia. Situated just to the right of the entrance, this outdoor play area includes bouncy castles, trampolines, a play area and more.
After you’ve shopped til you’ve dropped, rest aching feet at one of our wonderful cafes or restaurants. Enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate, breakfast, or stay for lunch, we have lots of excellent places to choose from, with great views of the water and the beautiful boats.
