If you’re looking for a beautiful place to eat in Sotogrande, come on down to the La Marina area in Sotogrande Port. This section of the port can be found to the right of the kids’ activity centre, and has nine, beautiful restaurants, with lovely waterfront terraces and modern interiors. This is the most recently developed area within the marina, and now boasts fantastic bars, restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes. Come and discover La Marina!

Here’s a rundown of the best places to go and enjoy delicious food and a great atmosphere –

Restaurante Don Diego – This is a fusion restaurant blending Japanese and Peruvian food in the popular Nikei style. Recommended dishes include sushi rolls, ceviche, fish red curry, Pad Thai and beef teppanyaki. Follow them on Facebook for the latest events and special activities such as sushi making workshops and special themed gastronomic evenings.

Foodisiac – This was launched this summer to create a place for foodies in Sotogrande. They have a range of speciality coffees, an artisan bakery, fine dining restaurant with Mediterranean and International cuisine and a Lounge and Bar serving fantastic cocktails. It is open from breakfast to late.

Molino del Conde – If you want to try traditional Spanish rice dishes, then Molino del Conde is a great choice. With a history of more than 25 years, this lovely restaurant is famous for its rice dishes, seafood and tapas. The fried and grilled fish dishes are very popular, but don’t leave without trying their huge selection of rice dishes included Black Rice, Lobster Rice, Fideua and range of Arroces Caldosos.

La Quinta – This is a carnivore’s dream, specialising in Argentinian meats and BBQ. Recently moved into the Ribera del Marlin area of Sotogrande Port, this is the place to enjoy the finest cuts of meat, great wines and lovely service from 7.30pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday lunch and dinner. Look out for their Friday night Tango shows, they are always fantastic.

Bokana – This great restaurant and bar specialises in cocktails, Mediterranean cuisine and chargrilled meats. They have regular DJ sessions and concerts at the weekend and they are open for lunch and dinner and for drinks and dancing until midnight.

Federal Market – This is Sotogrande Marina’s Gourmet Market which includes the Abacería restaurant and a deli where you can pick up delicious food to take away, or wonderful ingredients to use at home. Open from 10am to 8pm.

To explore this area, take the first exit from the roundabout immediately after the security post and park in the Mercado del Levante underground carpark. Come out at gate 2 and you’ll find yourself right in the heart of this lovely part of the marina.
