For the second year, La Reserva Club Sotogrande is sponsoring the historic race series organized by Peter Auto. These events bring more than 350 historic cars from different periods to some of the best circuits, including Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans.
This race series has different categories to celebrate different periods of the history of motorsport and specific circuit racing cars such as GT, Sportscar, Prototypes and Touring cars from the 1950s to the 2000s.

- Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium
22nd to the 24th of May
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Peter Auto has decided to postpone the tenth edition of Spa-Classic in 2021. We should be able to give you the dates in the third quarter of the year.
The opportunity to drive the legendary circuit at Spa is rare and so it’s not surprising that this is the most popular event of the season for drivers and spectators alike. There are two races in both the day and night as part of the Heritage Touring Cup which feature saloons and coupes that raced in the event between 1966 and 1984, as well as sports protypes and GTs.
- Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or 2020 at the Circuit Dijon-Prenois, France, 5th to 7th of June
This is a special one, as it’s the oldest historic car meeting in France, dating back to 1964. The race is held at the circuit where Gilles Villeneuve of Ferrari and René Arnoux of Renault fought in one of the most epic duals in F1 history. This is a seriously challenging race track and drivers and spectators love the history and drama of both the race and circuit.
- Le Mans Classic at Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans, Place Luigi Chinetti, Le Mans, France 3rd to the 5th of July
This is the largest historic motoring event in the world and offers a great retrospective of the legendary Le Mans 24 hour race. The event won the 2018 Motor Sport Event of the Year award and last year welcomed 195,000 spectators, 700 cars ready to race and 8,500 vintage cars to admire. This year, as it’s the 10th anniversary of the event expect new and exciting additions to an already legendary event.
- Les Dix Mille Tours du Castellet 25th and 26th of July at the Circuit Paul Ricard, France
This is the 10th anniversary event at the Circuit Paul Ricard and starts the 2020 season in style. The organisers recommend the circuit as a forgiving place for drivers to hone their skills thanks to the large run off areas. There are two race layouts which are used depending on the series to give the different categories different opportunities to show off their speed and skills.
- Monza Historic 2020 at the Monza Autodromo di Monza Italy, 18th to 20th of September
The Monza Historic race allows you to drive the famous Curva Grande, Lesmo and Parabolica corners at this fabulous Italian circuit. The Temple of Speed is a legendary setting for a great race, accompanied by the legions of Tifosi. As well as incredible racing, there is a Historic Paddock showcasing incredible Ferrari prototypes and GTs, as well as other legendary Italian car brands.
